What is PEMF?
PEMF, or Pulsed Electro-Magnetic Field Therapy is a soothing and energetic modality that can help people across the wellness spectrum stimulate their bodies to enhance overall wellness, and energize all aspects of their lives. The science behind PEMF is a well-studied methodology that’s been around for over a hundred years. Pulse Centers have bridged the gap between early pioneering discoveries and modern technology to create a natural alternative to greater wellness.
PEMF is used by our clients for:
- Pain Relief – Chronic or Acute
- Athletic Recovery
- Increased Energy
- Increased Performance
- Increased Bone Density
- Improved Blood Oxygenation
- Stress Reduction
- Enhance Brain Function…as well as so much more.
PEMF enhances the body’s naturaly ability to heal itself.
Imagine your body as a battery — daily stressors slowly drain your body of its energy to function optimally. By the end of the day, you’re mentally, physically, and emotionally depleted. That’s where PEMF technology comes in! PEMF is like re-energizing your internal battery. To function optimally the energy needs to be restored. Research and overwhelming anecdotal evidence confirms using Pulse technology will truly enhance your energy.
Here at Performance Bodywork, we use the BEST PEMF system in the world, the Pulse Centers XL Pro.
The XL PRO is the only Cellular Exercise system in the world to combine solid-state engineering, integrated electronics, “user-controlled” adjustable pulse and magnetic field strength, with up to 10Hz of pulsing power, stronger than any Cellular Exercise equipment on the market, supporting the body’s natural ability to repair and heal itself.
Contraindications for PEMF:
Anyone with implanted electrical devices including pacemakers, cochlear implants, intrathecal pumps, etc, cannot use PEMF Exercise because the magnetic field can disable or shut the devices off.
Persons with active bleeding or hemorrhaging conditions or during heavy menstruation cannot use PEMF.
PEMFs have not been proven safe for pregnant women, so we do not recommend it.
People with organ transplants on immunosuppression should not use PEMF.
