NovoTHOR is used by Nike Olympians, NBA Teams, NFL Teams, UFC, Collegiate Teams, NASA, US Military, European Soccer Teams, Chronic Pain Sufferers and anyone wanting to improve their quality of life and wellness.
What is NovoTHOR?
The NovoTHOR delivers a whole body light therapy treatment called Photobiomodulation Therapy, also referred to as PBM Therapy, designed to deliver red and near-infrared light at optimal wavelengths, power densities and dosages based on published clinical research outcomes. NovoTHOR is the 2016 winner of Invention of the Year at the Elite Sports Rehabilitation expo. Developed by THOR, in collaboration with Harvard Medical School, the English Soccer League, US Military Forces and British Military.

What is Photobiomodulation Therapy?
PBM – previously known as Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) – is the application of red and near-infrared light to tissue where there is degeneration or injury, to improve repair and reduce inflammation and pain.
PBM Therapy does many things, but really it does just one thing and it does it very well…and that is, it reduces oxidative stress, and boosts ATP production in our cells. Oxidative Stress is accepted as the underlying trigger for most diseases and degenerative conditions. It is also a component in the inflammatory phase of acute and chronic injuries.
Over 500 Randomized Controlled Trials have been published using PBM devices, and the technology has featured in over 3000 laboratory studies. Ongoing research and clinical trials are showing that PBM therapy can be beneficial in treating cancer therapy side effects, chronic pain and inflammation, autoimmune conditions (Fibromyalgia, Lupus, Crohn’s), neurodegenerative disease such as Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s, skin conditions (Psoriasis, acne, etc), Arthritis, Traumatic Brain Injury, Burns, Seasonal Affective Disorder, and many others.
Athletes are benefiting from faster rate of recovery from injuries and training. Increased strength and energy. Reduces DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness) from hard workouts, as well as hitting new PR’s with little, or no change in their workout routine.
Most people also describe a boost in their mood, decreased stress/depression, and improved sleep.
